This imposing, impressive building has good access just off the main road into the village where there is an abundance of parking located next to the hotel.
Wonderful tall wooden doors open into the entrance hall and to the left you will find male and female cloakrooms. To the right double glass doors lead into the fabulous, spacious reception area and from here is a store area and office.
A large ornate metal door leads from the reception area to the bar, lounge and games room.
A wide flight of stairs as well as an elevator give access to the two floors of accommodation.
Double doors from the Reception area provide access to the large feature hallway which leads back to the entrance hall and gives access to two function rooms.
Situated at the end of the hallway is a spacious central dining area featuring corner fireplace with wood burning fire and Andalucian shelving. Double doors from here lead into an enormous, bright function room which would be perfect for a wide range of uses. This room has direct access to the sizable and professional catering kitchen, which includes a large storeroom and walk-in fridge.
There is also access to the central dining area from the kitchen.
The first floor of accommodation includes 13 double guest bedrooms located off a large central communal area. The rooms differ in design and size, however all include full en-suite bathrooms.
Four of the larger bedrooms feature wonderful private, sunny terraces with fine views to the mountains. Many of the other rooms include Juliet balconies with great country views. The second floor includes 3 loft style bedrooms again all include full en-suite bathrooms. There are storerooms located on both floors.
Located in the basement of the hotel you will find private, independent accommodation for the owner or staff members which includes a lovely bright living/dining room with double doors opening out to a patio and garden.
The basement also includes guest cloakrooms, a small gymnasium, a large classroom/conference room, 2 sizable storerooms and the boiler room.
In recent years El Museo has run successfully accommodating some of the UK’s leading University’s students studying Geology and Geography.
